The ACSII Trade-Bridge Mission to Barbados is an exclusive business and investment delegation designed to connect international companies, investors, entrepreneurs and institutions with key decision-makers from Africa, Europe, the USA, and business leaders in one of the Caribbean’s most dynamic economies.

Participants will gain direct access to government agencies, private-sector leaders, investment promotion organisations and strategic partners through a programme of carefully curated engagements and pre-arranged business meetings.

Mission Overview

This isn’t a networking trip. It’s four days with the people who actually hold the keys.

From 22–25 September 2026, ACSII is leading a Trade & Investment Mission to Barbados, in partnership with the Barbados High Commission, UK.

Delegates will gain direct access to government decision-makers—not just site visits and brochures—across five strategic sectors:

  • Tourism
  • Education
  • FinTech
  • Culture & Creative Industries
  • Healthcare

The mission is application-only and limited to 10 delegates.

Participants arrange and pay for their own flights and accommodation. A recommended 4-star, all-inclusive hotel will be confirmed (TBC).

Sector Focus

Tourism

Explore investment, partnership and development opportunities within Barbados’ thriving tourism and hospitality sector.

Education

Connect with educational institutions and stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration, training, innovation and skills development.

FinTech

Engage with Barbados’ growing digital economy and FinTech ecosystem, including regulators, innovators and investment partners.

Culture & Creative Industries

Discover opportunities in the cultural and creative sectors, including entertainment, media, heritage and cultural tourism.

Healthcare

Meet healthcare providers, investors and policymakers to explore partnerships in medical services, health technology and wellness initiatives.

Why Barbados?

  • Expand into 15 markets, not just one.
Barbados sits inside CARICOM, meaning qualifying products and services gain duty-free access across the trading bloc. Build one market entry instead of fifteen.
  • Keep what you earn.
Benefit from full repatriation of profits and sector-specific duty exemptions designed to maximise investment returns.
  • Move faster.
Government introductions and strategic meetings are built into the mission, compressing months of outreach into just four days.
  • Invest with confidence.
Barbados offers fiscal stability and credible economic management, providing a reliable environment for investment.
  • Do business without unnecessary barriers.
English-speaking, close to UK time zones, with direct flights and a business-friendly environment.

Why ACSII?

Access is only as valuable as the relationships behind it.

ACSII has mobilised investment across 20+ nations. This mission is chaired by David F. Roberts, African and Caribbean Representative for the African Union Commission’s PPP & Stakeholder Forum.

These established relationships provide delegates with direct access to decision-makers who can move opportunities forward—rather than relying on months of cold outreach.

Who Should Apply?

  • Business owners looking to export or expand internationally.
  • Investors seeking a stable, incentive-rich jurisdiction.
  • Diaspora entrepreneurs looking to build meaningful commercial ties with the Caribbean.

This mission is application-only. We are looking for serious business owners and investors ready to trade or invest—not tourists.
