Project Manager

We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Creative Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of the African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Initiative (ACSII) activities and events held globally across the year.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role will ensure that timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met to deliver world-class international events that connect African and Caribbean communities across sustainability, investment, and innovation sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with the summit’s strategic goals and timelines.

  • Coordinate across teams including marketing, partnerships, logistics, content, and operations to ensure seamless execution.

  • Track milestones and deliverables; prepare progress reports and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Identify risks, challenges, and dependencies early, implementing proactive solutions.

  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, sponsors, and external partners.

  • Support event logistics planning, from scheduling to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up.

  • Maintain organised documentation, workflows, and resource tracking to ensure accountability and transparency.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects or events.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Creative mindset and comfortable working in a collaborative remote environment.

Availability Required:

  • Minimum of 5–8 hours per week

As an international summit, meeting times cater for European, Caribbean, and African time zones – some meetings may be held outside traditional office hours (GMT).
