We are seeking a talented Content Writer to craft clear, compelling, and engaging content for media and marketing purposes for the African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Initiative (ACSII) activities and events held globally across the year.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of sustainability, investment, and policy issues affecting African and Caribbean communities. They will be responsible for creating content across multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and supporting press releases, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging that drives engagement, attendance, and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging, informative, and persuasive content for various platforms, tailored to business leaders, policymakers, investors, and community stakeholders.

• Write social media posts, blog articles, and website content highlighting key themes of the summit, including sustainability, investment opportunities, and policy developments.

• Support the construction of monthly newsletters (email campaigns) with updates on speakers, exhibitors, and relevant summit news.

• Communicate internal updates in press releases to announce key speakers, partnerships, and major deals.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in content writing, journalism, or digital marketing (preferably within sustainability, investment, or policy sectors).

• Good knowledge of African and Caribbean business, investment, and sustainability landscapes.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt content for different audiences in a remote team environment.

Availability Required:

• Minimum of 5 hours per week

As an international summit, meeting times cater for European, Caribbean, and African time zones – some meetings may be held outside traditional office hours (GMT).
