The African-Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Initiative (ACSII) and the High Commission of the Republic of Zambia in London are pleased to announce a strategic partnership to host the ACSII / Zambia Trade & Investment Soirée, scheduled to take place at the Zambia High Commission in London in July 2026.

The exclusive event will convene investors, government representatives, business leaders, development finance institutions, entrepreneurs, and strategic stakeholders from Africa, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and the wider international investment community to explore trade, investment, and public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities in Zambia.

The Soirée follows the highly successful ACSII / Barbados Trade & Investment Soirée held in March 2026, which attracted significant interest from investors and business leaders seeking to strengthen commercial ties between Africa and the Caribbean.

This partnership marks another important milestone in ACSII’s mission to foster meaningful economic collaboration between Africa and the Caribbean, while facilitating access to high-impact investment opportunities that support sustainable growth and development.

The event will showcase Zambia’s investment priorities, including infrastructure development, public-private partnership projects, mining, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and emerging sectors aligned with the country’s national development agenda.

As a member of the African Union PPP & Stakeholders Forum, ACSII continues to strengthen its role as a trusted platform for connecting governments, investors, and private-sector stakeholders in support of the African Union’s vision for increased investment mobilisation, infrastructure development, and regional economic integration.

The ACSII / Zambia Trade & Investment Soirée will provide a unique opportunity for investors to engage directly with Zambian officials and decision-makers, while gaining valuable insight into one of Southern Africa’s most promising investment destinations.

Statement from David F. Roberts, Chairman, ACSII

“One of the most compelling aspects of Zambia’s investment proposition is its position as a gateway to the wider African market. Through its membership in COMESA and SADC, Zambia provides investors with access to some of the continent’s most dynamic regional economies, while also benefiting from the opportunities created under the African Continental Free Trade Area.

For ACSII investors, Zambia is not simply a national investment destination; it is a strategic platform from which businesses can access regional and continental markets. This aligns closely with ACSII’s mission of connecting international capital with transformational opportunities across Africa and the Caribbean.

Our partnership with the Zambia High Commission further demonstrates ACSII’s growing role as a trusted convenor of governments, investors, and development partners. It also reinforces the value of our engagement within the African Union PPP & Stakeholders Forum, which enhances our ability to facilitate high-level dialogue, investment partnerships, and public-private collaboration across the continent.”

Statement from His Excellency Macenje Che Che Mazoka, High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to the United Kingdom

“The Zambia High Commission is pleased to collaborate with ACSII in hosting the ACSII / Zambia Trade & Investment Soirée.

Zambia remains committed to fostering a conducive environment for investment and business growth. We welcome engagement with international investors and strategic partners who share our vision for sustainable economic development and prosperity.

This event provides an important platform to showcase Zambia’s investment potential and to strengthen commercial relationships with stakeholders from the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, and beyond. We particularly welcome the opportunity to engage with the ACSII investor network and explore new avenues for trade, investment, and partnership.

We believe that enhanced collaboration between Africa and the Caribbean can unlock significant economic potential, and Zambia is proud to play a leading role in advancing this agenda.”

Strengthening Africa–Caribbean Economic Cooperation

The ACSII / Zambia Trade & Investment Soirée reflects growing momentum in Africa–Caribbean economic cooperation and increasing recognition of the shared opportunities available to businesses, investors, and governments on both sides of the Atlantic.

Beyond its strong domestic growth prospects, Zambia occupies a strategic position at the heart of Southern Africa and serves as a gateway to two of the continent’s largest regional economic blocs: the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Through these regional frameworks, investors establishing operations in Zambia can access markets comprising hundreds of millions of consumers across Eastern and Southern Africa, creating significant potential for trade expansion, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure development, and regional value chain integration.

For Caribbean investors, the event offers direct access not only to opportunities within Zambia, but also to a wider regional market linked through COMESA and SADC, providing a strategic platform for establishing an African presence and expanding across the continent under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

For African stakeholders, the event presents opportunities to engage with Caribbean investors, businesses, and institutions seeking long-term partnerships across sectors including infrastructure, mining, energy, agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, logistics, financial services, and technology.

The Soirée forms part of ACSII’s broader programme of investment promotion activities aimed at facilitating trade, mobilising capital, advancing public-private partnerships, and supporting sustainable economic development across Africa and the Caribbean.
