About ACSIS

Bridging Continents. Building Futures.

The story of ACSIS is the story of two regions reclaiming their shared heritage and forging a unified path toward prosperity, justice, and self-determination.

The History of ACSIS

The African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Summit was created to bridge the historical, cultural, and economic ties between Africa and the Caribbean fostering meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and transformative action between two regions bound by shared heritage yet separated by geography and centuries of colonial fragmentation.

Despite deep ancestral connections and mutual interests spanning trade, culture, climate resilience, and development, Africa and the Caribbean have often operated in isolation within fragmented global systems designed to maintain colonial power structures. ACSIS emerged as a bold response to this disconnect—a platform built to unify efforts, amplify voices, and address the systemic challenges both regions face: economic disparity, climate vulnerability, limited access to capital, and underrepresentation in global decision-making.

This summit provides a much-needed space where leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, and communities can convene not merely to discuss challenges, but to co-create sustainable solutions, celebrate cultural richness, and unlock the collective potential of over 1.4 billion people across Africa and 44 million across the Caribbean.

ACSIS is more than a summit. It is a movement toward global solidarity—empowering Afro-descendant communities to reclaim their agency, shape their own futures, and drive transformative change across the diaspora and the world.
