At ACSIS we are committed to promoting sustainable practices in all aspects of our operations. As a predominantly digital and remote-based organisation, we recognise the power and responsibility we hold in setting a standard for low environmental impact, high-social value global engagement.

We pledge to:

• Host in-person events only when strategically necessary, focusing on community impact and sustainable development.
• Choose eco-conscious venues and local vendors who share our sustainability values.
• Minimise printed materials (i.e. digital programmes), encourage reusable products, and provide waste sorting and recycling at events.
• Offset travel-related emissions where possible, especially for international guests.

• Showcase and invest in sustainable initiatives and green startups from the African and Caribbean regions
• Provide platforms for knowledge-sharing on climate resilience, circular economies, and local innovation.
• Ensure inclusion and accessibility in all our programmes to build equitable pathways to a sustainable future.

• Regularly review and update our sustainability practices based on community feedback and environmental best practices.
• Report on our progress transparently and hold ourselves accountable through measurable goals.
