The African Caribbean Summit was created to bridge the historical, cultural, and economic ties between Africa and the Caribbean, fostering meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and action. Despite shared heritage and mutual interests, both regions have often been separated by geography and fragmented global systems of a past world under colonial rule.
This summit provides a much-needed platform to unify efforts, amplify voices, and address challenges such as economic disparity, climate resilience, and global representation. It convenes leaders, innovators, investors, and communities to co-create sustainable solutions, celebrate cultural richness, and unlock collective potential.
By facilitating partnerships and exchanging knowledge, the summit aims to shift narratives, promote self-determination, and generate tangible impact across sectors like science & technology, healthcare, urban and rural development, finance, and looks at restoration and reparative justice. ACSIS is a movement toward global solidarity, empowering and uniting Afro-descendant communities to shape their own futures and drive transformative change across the diaspora and the world.
The inaugural African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Summit (ACSIS) was held over two days in London, United Kingdom at the UK House of Lords and Lloyds of London. ACSIS 2024 brought together a diverse group of Policymakers, Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Thought-leaders, Academics, CEOs and many pioneering diaspora representatives from the African and Caribbean regions.
