Dr. Damie Sinanan is the Executive Director of the Caribbean Export Development Agency, where he has been a pivotal member since 2014. With over 20 years of experience in private sector development, trade and export promotion, investment attraction, and strengthening economic resilience across the Caribbean, he plays a key role in advancing the agency’s mission. His leadership drives initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of Caribbean firms, particularly SMEs, and attract investment in high-impact sectors. Prior to joining Caribbean Export, he held senior roles at exporTT, the Inter-American Development Bank, and Republic Bank Limited. Dr. Sinanan holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of the West Indies.
